First Congregational Church has
a long and vital history in the Fall
River community. Generations
of our neighbors have known this
as their church home. As part of
the Congregational tradition, our
roots go back to the earliest
days of colonial New England,
but we are a church looking
toward the future. We belong to
the “free church” tradition,
welcoming people from all faith
heritages, including long-time
Christians and those only
beginning to explore the things of
the Spirit.
We are small enough to be
friendly and welcoming, but large
enough to be involved in a wide
range of spiritual and social
commitments. We are a
growing and active community of
faith, rooted in the Good News of
God’s great love for all of
humankind.

All Are Welcome

Our worship and fellowship space is fully wheelchair accessible. Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) and large-print bulletins are available for services.

We try to live as examples of that love, so everyone who visits us will know they
are our guests and will feel warmly welcomed. So we hope you will visit us soon
and that we will have the opportunity to share this community of faith with you.

Our church is a family friendly church. We have made
accommodations for parents with small children by
providing closed-circuit TV in the Bogle Street Chapel.
If one of our little ones gets very unhappy during
worship, parents can take him or her into the Chapel,
watch the service on TV while the child calms down,
then return to the Sanctuary.
Come early to register and meet our teachers!
